A thought just occurred to me a moment ago as I was talking to someone on the phone. Well first of all he's a crusty broker that no one likes, especially me but I have to deal with him on this issue. Anyways, so I'm talking and talking and then I stop...
"Are you eating something?"
"Uh...yes, sorry."
Fuck, how annoying is that. Eating in my ear the whole damn time I'm talking. As if talking to you wasn't bad enough, now I have to listen to you chomp like a fucking cow on the other end of the phone. Anyways, the suddenness with how I asked the question may have startled him. Hope he choked on whatever the hell he was eating.
Ok, back to my thought. Maybe I'm shallow and insincere. I know, hard to believe. But I find myself regularly talking to people and kissing ass when I'd just as soon rip out their eyeballs and urinate in their ocular cavities (....so I married an axe murderer...some of you will get it...).
I know I sort of need to be nice to people to get business done. Why is it that all of a sudden so many of them are pissing me off? Perhaps beause I have to terminate about 75 tenancies and I'm getting sick and tired of listening to their shit. Maybe I've never cared but have been deluding myself all this time.
